XML Feed Format

Here are some simple guidelines for preparing an XML feed so that we can include your ads on OOYYO. If you would like additional information about the XML format, check out Wikipedia.

The UTF-8 XML file has one ‘ooyyo’ tag, and one or more ‘ad’ elements. Each ‘ad’ element has the following fields:

• url: URL of the ad on your website
• title: title of the ad
• content: description of the car
• price: price of the car (integer value) / set the "unit" to currency of your country

• make: make of the car
• model: model of the car
• engine_size: engine size of the car / set the "unit" to cc (cubic centimeter) or l (litre) (optional)

• trim: trim of the car (optional)
• body_type: body type of the vehicle / sedan, coupe, truck, convertible, SUV, 4×4 etc (optional)
• color: color of the car (optional)
• year: year of the car (optional)
• mileage: mileage / set "unit" to km (kilometers) or mi (miles) (optional)

• fuel_type: fuel type (i.e. gasoline, diesel, etc) (optional)
• transmission: transmission of the car (manual/automatic) (optional)
• power: power of the car / set the "unit" to kw (kilowatt) or hp (horsepower) (optional)

• doors: number of doors (optional)
• seats: number of seats in the car (optional)
• gears: number of gears (optional)
• location: location of the car (optional). The ‘location’ element contains these tags:
city: city name
postcode: zipcode
region: state or county name
• pictures: URLs of the pictures for this ad. The ‘pictures’ element may contain one or more sets of ‘picture’ tags:
picture: URL link of the picture on your website

• vin: vehicle identification number (optional)
• is_new: 0 if it is a used car, 1 if it is a new car (optional)
